No 52 - THE WILDERNESS WORKSHOP

This very special collection of stained glass feathers was designed by Thayer Allyson Gowdy and Joseph Arborio, a Father and Daughter team better known as The Wilderness Workshop.  Created exclusively for Whisper Editions, this group of feathers can be enjoyed daily hanging in a window, or any special location of your choosing, reflecting and catching light as the sun passes overhead.  The pieces are just as vibrant on a cloudy day too!  Available separately, or mix and match, each feather is unique and carefully handcrafted by Arborio with the most stunning shades of glass from the Northeast corner of Vermont. Unlike previous feathers made by Wilderness with solder spines, the Whisper edition spines are made of small, delicate slivers of glass requiring a more complex production process, and thus resulting in a new, distinctive form.
